Wedding venue: Poundon House, a private family home, was built at the turn of the century by a follower of Lutyens in the Palladian style and is approached up an avenue of lime trees. There are two Reception Rooms licensed for Civil Ceremonies, and in addition the Terrace can be used to seat guests providing an exceptional outdoor setting for the Ceremony (maximum guests 200 persons). The Marquee is also licensed for Civil Ceremonies, and is an ideal backdrop for large Weddings. After the Ceremony guests can enjoy views of the countryside before going to the Marquee, situated beneath mature beech trees and in a very secluded part of the garden and unique with its hand blocked printed lining, for dinner and dancing. We recommend two local caterers, Passion For Food and Original Kitchen, and we also welcome outside caterers. We have experience of holding Asian weddings, and the marquee is ideal for large weddings. Alternatively, the Reception Rooms provide a classic setting for couples wanting a more intimate Wedding Day. Venue Website

One Events is one of London's leading events companies and we are delighted to have two of their venues on the site. I wanted to write a little bit about them, and the company, as they are certainly extremely special.
One Marlybone, formally Holy Trinity Church, (see main image) was built in 1826-28 to the designs of famous Sir John Soane to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon. Soane is thought of to be Englan's finest architect in the Neo Classical Style. (His best work is the Bank of England). His Neo Classical influence is evident in the portico of the Church and his constant desire to work with light is never more evident than it is in the first floor galleries. This remarkable venue is used for some illustrious events throughout the year, but it is hard to think of a better venue in which to hold your wedding
This celebrity couple thought so as was recently featured in Hello magazine, who were covering the wedding of Emmerdale's Kevin Fletcher and his singer wife Elizabeth Marsland.
And this is it dressed for a another recent wedding at Christmas - isn't just absolutely beautiful.
A unique and special place to tie the knot - London Wedding Venue
I have been visiting and loving the Ritzy cinema in Brixton for nearly 20 years and so I was especially excited to hear that they have started to host weddings. I'm waiting for some new pics from them, but here is a little teaser of a recent wedding they had there. I'm sure you'll agree how beautiful and happy Aysha and Luke look.
We love a full on Hollywood Glamour style wedding - glossy, polished and smolderingly sexy! We've picked four perfect venues for this theme. The main picture of of Stoke Newington Town Hall. Hackney isn't normally associated with Hollywood glamour, but honestly, this Art Deco venue is AMAZING. Imagine making your dramatic entrance on that staircase. Equally fabulous is the spiralling staircase at Denton Hall in West Yorkshire. It also has an abundance of crystal chandeliers and it's exquisite 18th century décor makes ideally elegant for such a theme.

Bridal suite, Denton Hall which reminds me of those late 30s films with someone like Ginger Rogers luxuriating in a pair of cream silk pajamas....Ginger RogersKnowsley Hall in Merseyside is one of the most beautiful stately homes in the country. Home to The Earl and Countess of Derby, it is positively oozing with glamour, and can be exclusively yours for your special day. KnowsleyKnowsley bridal suite - we adore it!
