The Most Curious Wedding Fair

March 31st in York Hall, Bethnall Green, London E2

The Most Curious Wedding Fair

We are so looking forward to The Most Curious Wedding Fair (we even love the name!) - self-described as 'the fair for fashionistas, trend-hunters, etsy lovers and music lovers'.  Definitely for us then!  They began as a 'vintage' wedding fair and although this is still very much a part of their fair repertoire they feel there is room for more inspiration in the worlds of weddings - a response to the brides they meet. Their suppliers will favour the 20s, 40s and 50s but also a lot of cool other stuff regardless of era. There will be almost 50 stand-holders with a hand-made,

The Wedding Reporter

Ever thought about having a professional wedding guest...?

The Wedding Reporter

We recently came across Emma Woodhouse, aka the Wedding Reporter, and thought this was such a lovely idea.  Basically, Emma turns up with her notebook, soaks up the ambience and the details of the day, in order to go away and transcribe it all into a literary creative non-fiction account of your day.

She then provides you with a wedding report which gives you an extra layer of texture to the memories of the day. She will write about things that you could have forgotten in the chaos that can be a wedding day.

The Wonderful London Wetland Centre

A truly unique venue....

The Wonderful London Wetland Centre

The best day of your life should be spent somewhere really special and WWT London Wetland Centre certainly fits the bill. Set in over 100 acres of beautiful scenery, it's like being in the heart of the country even though you are only ten minutes from Hammersmith Tube.

The glass-fronted Observatory has panoramic views over the main lake with the London skyline as a backdrop, making it a breath-taking location for your ceremony or reception.  If you want a more intimate and unusual location you can hold your ceremony in the Wetland Living Lodge, a thatched building surrounded by ponds and reed beds. The Water's Edge Room is light and airy with wonderful views across the reserve, making it the ideal place for your reception.

Tunnels Beaches

The warmer weather has got us inspired for a beach side wedding...

Tunnels Beaches

Given the amazing weather all of a sudden, we were suddenly thinking of one of our lovely beach side venues. Can you imagine anything more romantic and lovely when the weather is so mediterranean. Tunnels Beaches is a private beach accessed via hand carved tunnels, licensed to hold civil ceremonies & civil partnerships. Get married within a thatched overlooking the sea, with no worries about the weather: our gorgeous function room & bar facility with balcony & roof terrace will be right there, overlooking the garden. This unique and stunning location is an ideal venue for your special day – fantastic scenery for your photos, private secluded beaches with spectacular sunsets. Newly landscaped garden with paving allow outdoor weddings in all but the most inclement weather conditions. You're even provided with wood to fuel the outdoor fire pit!
